ADULT BOOT CAMP
Monday – Wednesday – Friday
Our Boot Camp classes is for anyone 16 years of age or older that is interested in a fun, high energy, safe, effective and enjoyable but challenging fitness class. The boot camp is for all fitness levels from beginner to advanced
Our Boot Camp classes have 4 main components
Dynamic Warm Up (10 minutes)
This component prepares your body for more vigorous activity through large multi directional low impact movements to enhance your active joint range of motion, increase blood flow to your muscles and decrease the possibility of a soft tissue or joint injury.
Cardiovascular (10 minutes)
This component will consist of short sprints, distance running, hill running, ladder, cone, hurdle drills, calisthenics. The focus is to increase your heart rate over an extended period of time to help strengthen your heart and lungs.
Muscular Strength & Endurance Training (30 minutes)
This component focuses on strengthening and toning your muscles. We utilizes resistance equipment such as bands, dumbbells and barbells, body weight, weight sled, cable machines, weight vests and suspension straps (TRX).
Flexibility Training (10 minutes)
Flexibility exercises focus on enhancing and increasing your active joint range of motion, muscle length and suppleness, mental capacity, decrease the opportunity for soft tissue injuries and help the body release exercise by products such as lactic acid.
